Grand Prize: Two Air Canada system-wide round-trip economy class tickets. The retail value of the prize is $5,000 based on Air Canada’s fair market value.

  • Your ticket is not transferable, not refundable and not redeemable for cash.
  • Frequent flyer mileage accumulation is not permitted.
  • Stopovers or multi-city itineraries are not permitted.
  • The use of eUpgrade credits is not permitted.
  • Promotional pass recipients may be held liable to Air Canada for failure to adhere to the restrictions and conditions of travel applicable to their tickets or for the fraudulent use of those tickets.
  • Travel is not permitted during the standard blackout periods, which are subject to change without notice.

For the 2019 Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Raffle a total of 500 tickets are available.  Tickets are priced at $25 per ticket.

Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.  Tickets will be sold from February 1, 2019, to May 31, 2019.


Prizes are awarded tax-free in Canada.  The price of tickets is not deductible as a charitable donation for tax purposes in Canada.

The following people are not permitted to purchase tickets in this lottery: sellers of raffle tickets and members, employees and directors of the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Society responsible for the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

A non-resident of British Columbia may purchase a ticket only if the entire payment transaction takes place while the person is physically in British Columbia and if the ticket or a receipt is issued at that time.

Winner will be notified by phone and/or mail (electronic or post) by the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Society, and will be posted by June 1, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. on the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Society website at The winner does not have to be present at the draw to win.

Prize must be accepted as awarded, no substitutions, no exceptions, and cannot be redeemed for cash. The prize is subject to availability and restrictions.

Prize must be claimed by June 1, 2020.

Accepted methods of payments for the purchase of raffle tickets are: cash/credit card/cheque.

All sales are final once the ticket number is assigned, subject to credit approval. The Licensee reserves discretionary right not to accept entries.

The purchaser is responsible for proof-of-ownership of shared tickets.

The liability of the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Society is limited to the ticket price paid.

Winner consent to the release of their name and photo without any compensation by the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Society.
